It is no longer possible for many quality child care organizations to be sustainable without some practical and creative business and financing models and strategies.  This practical, hands-on workshop will cover four of the most critical child care business topics:  Financial Management and Planning; When Tuition is Not Enough: Fundraising for Your Child Care Business; Marketing Your Child Care Business; and The Role of Leadership in Managing Change. Participants will leave this workshop armed with tools and new ideas to survive and thrive in today’s economic environment. 

Tuesday, May 11, 2010                                 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Location:  Resources for Child Caring, 2021 East Hennepin Avenue, Suite #250, Minneapolis, MN 55413

Cost:  $25 which includes morning refreshments, lunch, and all materials.

Who should attend?  For profit child care center owners and directors, nonprofit center directors, assistant directors, managers, and others wanting to learn more about the business of child care.

What should you bring to the workshop?  Participants should bring a calculator, pencil, and a willingness to share your experiences and learn from others.
