Welcome!  I’m Lisa Sams, Iowa Director for First Children’s Finance. We are so pleased to bring First Children’s Finance programs to Iowa in partnership with the Iowa Department of Human Services, Iowa Community Empowerment, R. J. McElroy Trust and Principal Financial Group Foundation.

First Children’s Finance is an expert in the business of child care, and our internationally recognized programs help to grow and sustain successful child care centers in several states, including Iowa.  Since our Iowa office opened in October of 2008, we have launched our Growth Fund program to support child care centers committed to quality.  Our Loan Fund program finances child care centers and home-based family providers that need capital to open, expand and improve facilities.
